Bruins' Sturm leaves Game 1

In the opening minutes of the first period, Sturm went to check Flyers defenseman Matt Carle and got his leg tangled up. He attempted to skate toward the middle of the ice but fell to his knees, where he remained until play was stopped.

Teammates had to help Sturm off the ice. The severity of his injury is unknown.
